전 면요리를 참 좋아한답니다~
 
Do you know 'Osorok'?
I am a HUGE fan of noodle dishes! 
 
왕십리에 오소록이란 음식점이 생길때부터 지켜봤는데
초창기부터 인기가 올라가더라고요!
 
I've been keeping an eye on this restaurant, Osorok in Wangsimni, ever since it first opened.
And wow, its popularity has been skyrocketing right from the start!

기대기대하며 방문했어욤
 
Like, a Meat Noodle (Gogi-guksu) hot spot?! 
I visited with super high expectations!

오소록 앞의 저 돌하루방만봐도 넘나 설레네요~
떠나요?! 
 
A Jeju island-themed restaurant in the city!
Just seeing the traditional Dolhareubang statue gets me so excited.
It seriously makes me want to travel right now!

원래 오소록에는 사람들이 바글바글한데~
브레이크 타임 임박했을 때 찍어서 널럴하네요!
 
It’s normally super crowded here,
but I managed to snap some pictures right before break time when it was fairly quiet and spacious.

오소록 고기국수는 기본으로 시키시는 거 같고요~
멤버가 많으면 돔베고기나 순대도 같이 먹으면 좋을 거 같네요!
 
The Meat Noodles seem to be the standard go-to dish here.
If you visit with a larger group, it would be great to pair them with Dombe-gogi (boiled pork slices) or Sundae (blood sausage) for the table.

오소록에서는김치 등의 반찬은 셀프였어요~
무한 리필 가능 ㅎㅎㅎ
 
Side dishes like kimchi are self-serve.
Which means... unlimited refills!

Just look at the visual of this Gogi-guksu (Meat Noodles)! 
Thick slices of meat, rich and savory broth, and perfectly chewy noodles!
Seriously, I felt like I was right there in Jeju Island! 

고기 양도 엄청나서 배가 금방 부르더라고요
소식좌가 아닌 제가 먹어도 배가 빵빵하게 배불리 먹을 수있었어요 
 
They gave so much meat that it filled me up quickly.
I have a pretty big appetite, but this meal left me stuffed and thoroughly full!

먹다보니 정말 콧잔등에 땀이 송글송글 맺히며
몸이 개운해지더라고요~
지금처럼 더울때 이열치열 아시죠?
매장 내부는 시원합니둥
 
Slurping down the noodles, I found myself breaking a light sweat, which actually made me feel amazingly refreshed.
It's the perfect example of the Korean wisdom: "Fighting the summer heat with hot food!"
Thankfully, the restaurant inside was cool.

시원한 콜라로 입가심도 하고요~
 
I also took part in their review event to get a free drink!
Finishing the meal with a cold Coke was the perfect way to cleanse my palate.

오랜 국수집이 아니고 번화한 곳에 위치한 곳도 아닌데 
인기가 많은 건 
맛때문이겠죠!
역시 맛이 뛰어나면 결국 맛집이 되나봐요~
적당하면 안되고 정말 맛집이면요 ㅎㅎ
 
It’s not an old, historic restaurant, nor is it located in a bustling downtown area.
Yet, the reason it's so incredibly popular is definitely the taste!
